Ben Franks, Chief Executive Officer

Ben has spent the past decade working with companies on matters related to cleantech, corporate law, commercial transactions, business startup and finance, joint ventures and M&A, contract negotiations, international trade law and policy, corporate sutainability, and solar project finance and development.

After attending Duke University for his undergraduate degrees in economics and public policy, Ben pursued five years of international graduate studies to earn both his Juris Doctorate (JD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Temple University.  Ben began his postgrad career in Tokyo, Japan working on international trade and project development matters with Holland & Knight LLP before moving to San Francisco to help Morrison & Foerster LLP launch and manage its international Cleantech Practice, a first of its kind among the world’s largest law firms. As General Counsel & Director of Frontier Renewables, Ben has served an integral role in the startup, financing and development of four utility-scale photovoltaic farms in California’s Central Valley (collectively 300 MWs) — enough to power more than 100,000 homes with clean renewable electricity:

Julian Kindrish, Director of Project Development

Julian attended Washington & Lee University where he graduated with a degree in business and a minor in environmental studies and was a member of the varsity soccer team. He has experience underwriting home solar from Clean Power Finance. Most recently, Julian worked at Project Finance Advisory Ltd. advising public and private entities on how best to deliver capital intensive infrastructure projects. Julian handles project sourcing and management for ReGen.
